Ingredients
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup diced onions
1 lb lean ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes (with juice)
2 cups water
8 oz uncooked spaghetti
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
1. In a large pot or deep skillet, sauté garlic and onions over medium heat until softened.
2. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
3. Stir in taco seasoning and canned diced tomatoes (including juice).
4. Pour in water and add uncooked spaghetti. Stir to combine.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
6. Uncover and cook for 1–2 more minutes to reduce excess liquid.
7. Turn off heat. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and cover until melted.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use ground turkey or plant-based meat as a substitute for beef.
Add a splash of hot sauce or jalapeños for extra spice.
Top with sour cream or crushed tortilla chips for taco-style flair.
