Frozen Jalapeño Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshing, spicy twist on your usual glass of chilled white wine. Infused with frozen jalapeño slices, it delivers a clean citrus finish with a surprising kick—perfect for hot days, casual gatherings, or when you want to add a little heat to happy hour.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

Scale

1 glass chilled sauvignon blanc

34 coin-sized slices of fresh jalapeño, frozen

Instructions

Prep the Jalapeños
Slice a fresh jalapeño into thin, coin-sized rounds.
Place the slices into an ice cube tray like the one in the photo.
Pour water over the slices until they’re fully covered, then freeze until solid — about 2 to 3 hours.

Assemble the Drink
Add 2–3 jalapeño ice cubes to your wine glass.
Pour in a full glass of chilled Sauvignon Blanc.
Let the drink sit for a minute or two so the jalapeño flavor can slowly infuse the wine.

Take a sip. Want more heat? Drop in another cube.
Too spicy? Remove one — that’s the beauty of using frozen jalapeños.

Notes

Pro Tips:

Use a light, citrusy sauvignon blanc to complement the spice without overpowering it.

Start with 1–2 slices for a mild kick and add more if you want extra heat.

Remove the seeds from the jalapeños before freezing if you prefer less intensity.
